This is week 5 of a five-week workshop for parents who are experiencing postnatal depression, anxiety or overwhelm, and whose babies are not yet crawling.
In a small, non-judgemental group, for about 1 hour each week you will have the opportunity to spend time with other parents who are going through similar experiences.
Research shows that learning and using infant massage can help many mums manage and overcome postnatal depression and anxiety. In addition, infant massage can help to:
· relieve symptoms of postnatal depression and anxiety
· improve your baby's sleep-awake patterns
· relieve tummy troubles
· assist your baby's growth and development
· improve your baby's sensory awareness
· understand what your baby is trying to tell you, and
· meet with other parents in a relaxed and social atmosphere
Babies with special & additional needs are warmly welcomed in this class. Please let us know if you require any specific facilities or supports to attend.
Taught by an IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructor and Registered Nurse.
