BABY BONDING & DEVELOPMENT
Touch, Move, Speak, Bond
This is our most popular and comprehensive workshop and makes the most wonderful gift for new or expecting parents. Combining the latest research with the oldest wisdom, during the program you will learn to understand the secret language of babies. Using touch, movement and sound we explore ways that you can communicate with your baby to promote bonding, sleep, and development. The techniques learned in class have been shown to reduce persistent crying, improve sleep, reduce parent stress and depression, and to support brain development vital for later skills such as reading, writing, socialising, physical coordination, emotional intelligence, and many others. INFANT SLEEP AND SETTLING
The Happiest Baby on the Block - The "Off Switch" for Crying, Colicky and Fussy Babies
This is a mind-blowing workshop for parents of fussy, colicky and unsettled babies who have tried "everything"! This workshop is taught by a Happiest Baby on the Block Certified Educator. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to see the world through your baby's eyes and how to, in a few short steps, switch off her crying to reveal a calm and peaceful baby.
The Happiest Baby program is based on the landmark research of Dr. Harvey Karp, Assoc. Professor of Paediatrics at UCLA, and initally developed out of his interest in the fact that colic and unexplained persistent crying is virtually non-existant in most non-western cultures. The program identifies:
~ The "missing" fourth trimester - why babies are not fully ready for the world when they are born, and how this triggers the crying reflex;
~ The calming reflex - the way that reflexes kept your baby calm in the womb for nine months, and how they can still be activates during the first months of life; and
~ The five S's - the five simple technqiues that activite the calming reflex in literally minutes.

INFANT & BABY MASSAGE
Research in infant massage shows us that it is one of the most profound ways that parents & caregivers can:
- learn to understand their baby's cues and signals
- help promote bonding & attachment
- help their baby to sleep and settle
- promote phyiscal development, growth & brain development
- reduce their own and their baby's stress
- adjust to their new role, including reducing post-natal depression
- help siblings adjust to a new baby
We offer a wide range of infant and toddler massage programs to suit your needs and requirements. If you cannot find a program to suit your needs or your schedule, please let us know. We regularly add new workshops to our program.
All of our massage programs can be tailored for specific groups, and are also available privately. All families attending our workshop receieve a Baby Massage Pack containing handouts, diagrams and oils for massaging your baby.
We teach the International Association of Infant Massage program.

BABY SIGN LANGUAGE
Baby's Class
Sign language can be used to communicate with your hearing baby from about the age of 6 months, to help with:
- language and speech development
- bonding
- understanding and communication between you & your baby
- reducing frustrations and tantrums
- developing strong self-expression and emotional intelligence
Our classes are taught by a Certified Kindersign ® Instructor.
